# Edit Variant

You can edit the details of a newly created variant.

To edit the variant in Ingest Labs, perform the following steps:

1. Select the variant that you want to edit.
2. From the drop-down menu on the top right corner of the Variant section, select **Edit**.

3. Edit the details under the Info section.
4. Edit the test parameters from the Audit Categories section.

Click **Save** on the top-right to save the changes.

**Step Result**: The new variant is successfully edited.
