# Edit a Segment

## Introduction

You can edit the **Name**, **Description**, **Date Range**, and **Conditions** of the **Segments**, but the **Segment Type** and **Context** cannot be edited.

## Procedure

**To Edit a Segment, perform the following steps:**

**Step 1**: From the left navigation panel, select **Segments**.

**Step 2**: Select the **Segments** you want to edit and click on it.

**Step 3**: Click the **Actions** dropdown and select **Edit**.

**Step 4**: Make the necessary changes you want to do the **Segment**.

**Step 5**: Click **Save** to save the changes.

**Step 6**: **A Segment updated successfully** popup will appear to confirm the changes have been applied.
