# Edit Destination

This option allows you to edit the **Name**, **Description**, and **Destination** properties of existing destinations.

To Edit a **Destination**, perform the following steps:

**Step 1**: From the left navigation panel, select **Destinations**.

**Step 2**: Select the **Destination** you want to edit and click on it.

**There are two tabs available:**

• Info

• Metadata

**Note:** The **Info** tab opens by default. You can manually switch to the Metadata tab if needed.

**Step 3**: **Info**

**Step 3.1**: Click **Edit** button which is available right side.

**Note 1**: You can edit the **Name**, **Description**, **Destination Properties**, **Data Format**, and **File Format** as needed.

**Note 2**: You cannot edit the **Destination Type** and **Connector fields**.

**Step 3.2**: Click **Save** to save the changes.

**Step 3.3**: A **Destination was updated successfully** message will be displayed to confirm that the destination updated.

**Step 4**: Click **Metadata.**

**Step 4.1**: Click **Edit** button which is available right side.

**Note**: The existing **Value Destination** will remain unchanged.

**Step 4.2**: Click the **Add** button to add more keys and values.

**Step 4.3**: Click **Save** to save the changes.

**Step 4.4**: A **Metadata Updated** message will be displayed to confirm that the metadata has been updated.
