# Edit Dashboard

## Introduction

This document explains how to edit a dashboard.

## Procedure

Perform the following steps to edit a widget:

**Step 1:** Click **Custom** **Dashboards** from the left navigation panel.

**Step 2:** Click the dashboard you want to edit.

**Step 3**: Click the Actions (…) menu, then click ‘Edit’.

**Step 4:** Make the necessary changes to the name and description, then click ‘Update Dashboard’.

**Step 5:** A message appears: ‘Dashboard updated successfully.
