# Restore

## Introduction&#x20;

When you create two or more versions, and you need to revert to a previous version (e.g., Version 1), follow these steps.

## Procedure

**Step 1**: Under the **Action** dropdown, select the version you want to restore.&#x20;

**Step 2:** Click the **Action** button and choose **Restore this version**.

**Step 3:** A popup message appears saying, ‘Restoring will create a copy of Version 1 as a new version. Would you like to proceed?’ Click on *Yes*.

**Step 4:** A message appears saying ‘Segment restored successfully.

**Note**: Until the segment is activated, the status displays as **Pending Activation**. Once the segment is activated, the **Activated** status is updated.
