# Create a New Custom Dashboard

## Introduction

This document explains how to create a new Custom Dashboard.

## Procedure

Perform the following steps to create a new dashboard:

**Step 1**: Click **Add Custom Dashboard**.

**Step 2**: **Name:** Enter the name of the dashboard. **Description:** Enter a description for the dashboard.

**Step 3**: Click **Create Dashboard**.

A message appears: **Dashboard added successfully**.

**Note 1:** Ensure that the number of characters in the name field is five or more. Else the following message appears:\
\&#xNAN;*Name must be longer than or equal to 5 characters.*

**Note 2:** You cannot edit the Default Dashboard as the project is configured with the default settings.
